“ Whatever you do, do well” the bible says. Thomas Edison goes on to say “Anyone who’s ever made a difference started with a dream and eventually it became their life’s obsession”. These people lead by example in their day no matter what the opposition was and did it with excellence.
What attributes should I have?
Doing thing others don’t want to do, filling the gap where there is a need, setting the pace, having a role model to follow, or consider others more important than yourself I believe should be incorporated into our daily lifestyle..
Someone once said “Teaching what’s right is wonderful, doing it is even more wonderful”. That’s where the rubber hits the road don’t you agree.
The writer of Ecclesiastes writes “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again and again, there is nothing under the sun that is new”.
With this in mind we should be experts by now hey. Sadly not . If you are a Christian and seek to be a great example for the rest of your life, awesome keep up the good work, inspire others to succeeed on every area of life and see how lives will be changed for the greater purposes of the Kingdom.
To be a follower of Jesus have to do these things :
1. Repent – We need to confess our sins to Jesus and acknowledge we have sinned and ask God to forgive and clense us from it.
2. Accept – We need to ask God into our life and accept him as our Lord and Saviour. Being religious wont get you to heaven being right with god will though.
3. Follow God – every day of your life, praying, reading word of God and being with other believers and living for God will make us Godly examples and change our world.
Is this something you need to do, Do you need Jesus to take control of your life so you can lead it with purpose and success? Are you hesitant, that’s ok keep questioning and searching for the answers to life. Or perhaps you won’t enter the conversation about God well if Jesus returns tomorrow I just hope you have not left it too late. Take the chance while you have it my friend. God loves you very much.
