This morning the air was soft and sweet
a beautiful warm spring day,
it just fills my heart with the most blissful joy
a feeling for which there are no words to say.
This is the same wondrous feeling I had
when Jesus first came into my life
and knowing that He had transformed my heart,
putting joy where there had been only strife.
This feeling still is mine every day,
when I think of the things that are true,
and the most wondrous gift of all that I have,
is that I get to share my life with you!
There is joy in seeing your face each morning,
bliss in the touch of your hand on my face,
there is love so deep, each day deeper still,
and such wonder being here with you in this place!
I thank God first thing every morning,
and it's the last thing at night that I do,
for I am still in awe that I have all my dreams,
and they are all wrapped up in you!
