When my dreams felt like they were shattered,
And my hopes looked beyond what I could see,
In the time that I felt the lowest of all,
You brought sweet mercy to me.
When my eyes shed tears of pain ,
my heart broken beyond what all could see,
When I felt alone and frightened,
You brought to me sweet peace.
When my friends all forsook me,
because of my human frailties,
You brought to me new friendships
that fulfilled that need in me.
When at times I felt unlovable
You brought to me your best,
When you came to me in the nighttime
and said, "My Child .. just take rest "
What more could one ask for
then to give such love so free,
In all the times that I needed you
You never once failed me.

Oh, Cindy, this is nice! So true, brought my emotions to the surface. Isn't He wonderful? He never leaves us wallowing in our misery for long, if we turn to Him, but He gives us hope, love, mercy, and grace. Glory to His name! Thanks for sharing this.
