I am divinely defined by God- therefore your definition of me doesnít matter.
You think you may know me but donít be fooled- What you see- what you think you know is really not truth-
If you want to know who I really am, close your natural eyes and see me through the eyes of God-
ĎCause I cannot be defined by my past circumstances-whether good or bad.
I cannot be defined by the names Iíve been called, by the troubles Iíve seen, by the mistakes Iíve made, by what used to be.
Nor can I be defined by your limited view of what you think I am capable of doing or what you think I am capable of becoming.
So, if you know me by these things- you donít know me. You donít even have a clue as to who I am or what I have on the inside or what I have to offer you and the world around me.
I am divinely defined by the One who created me- the One who called me- His definition of me- His expectation of me is all that matters.
I am divinely defined therefore I donít look to you to tell me who I am-
I look to Him- knowing that as I seek Him, I find my own self- for it is in Him that I stand revealed.
Great work indeed! The person whose definition of me I have the hardest time refuting is my own! I often have to remind myself that even my own definition of me isn't accurate when compared to the divinely defined person God ordained me to be.
