If Easter had not come where would I be?
I would be the blind beggar begging on the street!
If Easter had not come where would I be?
I would be a harlot living in my sin; in my
misery!
If Easter had not come where would I be?
I would be still be a crippled boy;unable to
play with my friends in the street!
If Easter had not come where would I be?
I would be the grieving widow who watched
her daughter die in her sleep.
If Easter had not come where would I,
Peter,be? Still fishing with my brother,Andrew,
and searching for the answers to liberty!
If Easter had not come where would I,Mary
The Lord’s handmaiden,be? I would not have
known my first born Son;
and given birth to my Saviour,The King of kings!
If Easter had not come I shudder to ask
the question; where would I be?Still
separated from the Love of God for all
Time and Eternity!
Praise the Lord the stone has been rolled away!
Hear the Angels Proclaim; “He IS Risen
On This Day; Halleluiah ,Halleluiah
Jesus Christ, The Lord, is Risen Today!”
Because of Easter Morning my soul
rejoices and shall live Forever more!
I Worship my Saviour The King of Kings
and Lord of lords; The One whom I
Adore!
Dee - This is a beautiful poem. I am so glad Christ arose from the grave - thus giving all who belive eternal life and the celebration of Easter. Thank you for sharing. In Christ's Love,
Julia
Beautifully inspired, indeed! I too shudder to think where I'd be today if that stone had not been rolled away. But praise God, we have a risen Savior!
Dear Dee, This is a very powerful, beautifully written and inspired verse! Yes, without Easter, there would be no future; but because of Easter there is LIFE ETERNAL WITH OUR FATHER! Thank you for sharing this perspective - it encourages us to be even more grateful that Easter DID come, givng us the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL - Jesus Christ! God bless you, dear Sister! Love, Peggy
Praise God that Easter did come. I shudder to think where would I be if Easter hadn't come. His grace abounds. Thank you for this message. In Christ, Christian

Yes, Dee. Where would any of us be? Thank the Lord for Easter and what it means to us. I know there are many in the world that think Easter is just about hats and bunnies and easter eggs and an easter lily, but to us Christians it means that Christ came to die on the cross for our sins. And He not only died, but He rose again, thus completing Easter. Thank you for your very unique thoughts on Easter and what it is--contrasting what it would have been, had there not been an Easter.
What a beautiful reminder of what Easter means to us- a Season of Hope for us who believes in the power of Christ's Cross and Resurrection.
Keep spreading the Good Newws! Love,Gloria
