Almighty God can take a chapter, or a page, or a group of verses, or a single verse from this BOOK and bring them to life. He can make this activity real and relevant, a tangible tailor-made touch to the openhearted reader:
Touching my special personality
Touching my distinct environment
Touching my unique circumstances
Who among us can say that Almighty God can't do this?
Physically, this BOOK is similar to most other books: covers, table of contents, index, chapters, pages, etc. That is where the comparisons ends! This BOOK is alive and breathes out spiritual life. If you hold the BOOK in your hand, it will not literally bite you. But if you open it---and read therein, it just might bite you! For the Book speaks of truth---and oftentimes the truth hurts---hurts our hopelessly oversensitive personal feelings. The human mind and heart do not naturally seek and respond to God's spiritual truths---embodied in the Book.
In our limited human parameters, living means flesh, bones, organs, breath---the essence of mankind. But a BOOK exhibiting and begetting life? God primarily majors in spiritual life, since He is a Spirit (Jn 4:24). From personal salvation in Christ Jesus---to His divine determination and purpose to communicate with His children. That's where the BOOK breathing spiritual life comes in...
"For the Word of God (this BOOK) is
LIVING and ACTIVE. Sharper than any
double-edged sword, it penetrates (because it is LIVING)
even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart (because
it is LIVING)." Heb 4:12.
What a crystalline vision to hold---that God Himself transfers spiritual wisdom and knowledge through the BOOK that is LIVING. Are you inspired and invigorated to interact with this LIVING BOOK?
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

I agree; it is not just another book. You have given the reader a way of looking at the Book that he/she might not have thought of before or confirmed his/her view of It. Whatever, I share your thoughts and know that the Bible is alive with spiritual truths that we need to follow.
