The love of money is the root of all evils.
Money is said to answer all things.
Many a believer has been deceived by the devil
Answer may come, but solution belongs to the king.
“You cannot serve God and mammon”, says our Lord.
In spite of this instruction and admonition,
Believers often find it arduous to be above board,
Easily yielding to mammon temptation.
Jehovah is still the same today as ever, The Almighty.
He remains a jealous God.
Trusting in filthy lucre is idolatry.
Money is a servant, a defense, but mammon an Idol.
A good servant but a bad master in earnest,
Money is supposed to be added unto us,
While seeking God’s Kingdom and his righteousness,
And focusing on the Lord Jesus.
Many, seeking and serving mammon,
Have lost the faith and quenched the Holy Spirit.
Many breakthrough and blessings uncommon,
Have been lost in transit.
The earth and its fullness, they are the Lord’s.
We shall not be possessed by our possession.
In heaven we lay our treasure and rest assured,
Our riches are true, eternal concession.
Nevertheless, we must work with good motive,
So that men may put money in our bosom,
Our God empower us to be creative,
Because He is indeed awesome.
