I’ve been thinking about Moses, Joshua, Aaron and Hur, the major characters in the battle of Rephidim in Exo 17. From hindsight, we can say that, had anyone of them not occupied his place either in leadership or service as each did, there would have been catastrophic results.
We are quick to blame leaders or workers when things don’t go well, but today, I appeal to you to adopt another attitude. Adopt an attitude of occupying your own position regardless of whether other players take theirs or not. In the end, you alone must give an answer to God for your stewardship – no one else!
