You say because of the influence of the way that women and men dress today that it can't be done
You say because of the influence of the aggressiveness of the opposite sex today that it can't be done
You say because of the influence of the way that even some of the women are dressing in the church today that it can't be done
You say because of the overall mindset of society today that it can't be done
You say because of God's grace and understanding that we are fallen creatures, that it is not as much a big deal today
You are wrong, it can be done, and it is a big deal. The God of Israel has not changed and He still calls His children to a higher standard.
I became a Christian on August 18, 2001, and have been celibate ever since. As well as there are others in the body that share this same testimony. We as well watch television, listen to music, watch movies, went to churches where people have dressed inappropriately, have dated people that came on a little too aggressive, and also live in today's society. But because of God's will in our lives, and the empowerment and leading of the Holy Spirit, as well as some self-control and a choice on our part, it can be done.

True, we live in a permissive soceity but as surprising as it would be, they are many virgins alive in the faith even today. I married my husband at the age of 24 after an engagement period of 3 years a virgin and have been married for 15 years un defiled. I have close friends who are over 40, are beautiful and remained virgins because they are yet to make a God willed choice of marriage.All it takes is to make up your mind to be undefiled.
