I love talkback radio. There are times when the guests are boring and other times when they are so annoying you can quite easily become incensed and want to ring in and join the debate.
Recently a local radio station had a Buddhist monk on as a guest. Nice guy, softly spoken and appeared to be very caring but let's face it;on his way to hell! This man does not know the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour. His beliefs appeared to stem from the Ten Commandments but he has no knowledge of Christ. He even agreed with a woman listener, who being a Christian, remarked that her beliefs and his were very similar in that particular fact. At the end of her comments though she did tell him he needed to go back to school; and learn about the Creator. Amen.
This man was once an extremely wealthy man with millions to his name. Known and respected all around the world in his chosen profession, he gave all his belongings away and is now invited to conferences all around the world. He boasted that when meeting the president of the USA that the CIA didn't search him! How weird is that? In this present world where danger is lurking around every corner, a Buddhist doesn't get searched when invited to the Whitehouse! Would a Christian have that sort of consideration? No way. You and I would probably get strip searched!
The whole interview got me to thinking about the Anti-Christ. There is a lot of speculation on the net that perhaps Hillary Clinton is the Anti-Christ. Personally I can't see it but then I'm not a theologian. But to my mind what better person to be raised up as the Anti-Christ than a Buddhist? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this particular person is the Anti-Christ and that he has 666 tattooed on his forehead, but then I have been wrong before.
Here we have someone who has been invited to speak with the President, with Jewish communities and is now expecting to be invited by the Pope to speak with Catholics. The subject? Peace. This is the very thing that the Anti-Christ will bring to the world. This man as a Buddhist promotes peace above everything else. Even above our Saviour. He says he lives by the same tenets as we do…the Ten Commandments. He lives a good and holy life, doesn't hurt anyone or anything, but it's there that the resemblance ends. Because of his life he is able to speak to tens of thousands of people about Buddhism and peace. Can we do the same? Can we honestly look at ourselves and say that people watching us know for sure we follow Christ? Because let me tell you, people look at this man and want to be like him. And being like him in his beliefs is leading souls straight to hell.
Perhaps it's time to stand up and be counted, because if we don't there are others like this man who will.
