Whenever things become routine
God appears in the picture to stir things up, not for the purpose of giving me an unrest, but to continue to show me His glorious work in my life.
Whenever things become hectic
Whenever things become overwhelming
God appears in the picture to still the waters, not for the purpose of showing me that he has no confidence in me, but to continue to show me His unfailing love for me.
Whenever I become proud
Whenever I become boastful
God appears in the picture to humble me, not for the purpose of raining on my parade, but to continue to save me from wrongdoing and perishing by the sword.
It is for these reasons and many more such as these that I welcome his appearances because they just continue to renew my love with Him again.
