" How" Nicholas exclaimed with a strange look.

The mailman walked up the sidewalk to the Creator's mailbox, put the mail in and put the flag down.
" Hello George" he said with a big smile as he walked up and shook his hand hello. " And how is your wife Ellen and your young boy Roger".
" Fine Thank you" he replied with a grin as he continued on his mail route.
" Nicholas, did you greet the mail man" he asked as he took the mail out and began to thumb through it.
" No!" was Nicholas's response.
" Nicholas, everything in life is a test including how you treat people you know and strangers you meet". " Thank you for helping me with the leaves" he said to Nicholas as he went into the garage and put the rake away. " Come on in for some hot cider and some homemade cookies".
