" Mrs. Langford" Homer said as he ate the last bite of his pot roast that was on his plate. " That is the best pot roast I've ever tasted".
" Thank you Mr. Tang" she said as Harold her husband smiled. " Wait till you try my homemade peach cobbler" she replied with a smile as she picked up the dirty dishes and went into the small kitchen.
" I'm going to go in and help her get the dessert ready" Harold Langford said as he pushed back his chair and stood up. " Please make yourself at home".
When he had entered the kitchen and Homer saw that he was alone, he looked around and noticed where Mrs. Langford's purse was. He got up quickly, walked over and rifled through her purse. He took out her billfold and put it in his fanny pack he had brought with him.
