I dreamt I was in a cave, it was so dark and dim, and life inside was lived like long ago, and you entered it when you entered in.
The only light was from a fire, the flour for bread was ground with a stone,
and I knew nothing of how things worked, I felt out of place and alone.
Then appeared a man to guide me, His face shone like the Son, and He showed me around, helped me understand like I was the only one.
He brought me right up next to the fire, to be warmed by its golden flame,
and I understood then that He was Jesus, and I would never be the same.
Things here were done in simple ways actions and words came straight from the heart, and this was the world I wanted to be in, oh, could I stay, could I be a part?
'Oh, yes' He said, all you have to do, is accept Me into your heart, and everything old will be made brand new, and you'll have a fresh new start.
'Yes' I said, filled with joy, and then He did the most wonderful thing, He brought me around to sit right by you, and said 'a love for each of you, I bring'.
Now all the world is seen through His eyes, there are riches beyond compare,
and all is because I believed in Him, and He gave us this endless love that we can share.
I awoke then into the same bedroom, but the wonder is still fresh and new,
that I have been given such a wonderful gift, and that gift is loving you!
