The old dirt road
on which I live
wouldn't give it up
if all the pavement on Earth
you had to trade or give !
Although close to the city
seems a million miles away
it's God's country
that's what I say !
Neighbor's keep their distance
yet we are all so close
privacy and doing what we want
that's what we like the most !
I don't get in your's
and you don't get in mine
it's our own little world
country life sure is fine !
