Poetry
A life of lies, cheating, am I of.
To deny needs of those I love,
I dive, contrive,
Into a corrupt life.
No feeling, lack of, rather,
I hurt those that matter,
Double existence, I hide,
Into deception, I collide.
Found out, I fake my turn,
Trapped, spurned,
I lose, I lose,
I am in hell, pay dues.
Second discovery of failure I am,
I lost trust of a trusted friend,
Face myself, damned,
This is who I am.
Struggle begins,
Dug a pit, I am in,
Longing for release,
Pain caused, will it cease?
Lay down this lie, contrived,
Clean from my lies,
To live life as meant to be,
Expect climb to be hard for me.
Learn love, I don't know,
Don't trust me, trust the God I know,
Commit to the quest,
Lord, help me, put it to rest.
