Have you ever watched the early morning sunrise,
Seen the beauty of a multi-coloured sky?
Have you ever looked up to the mighty mountains,
Have you never ever wished that you could fly?
For if you see the dawning of a new day,
And behold the many colours up on high,
It will feel as if you climbed the highest mountain,
And you will know what it is like to fly.
Have you ever sat and felt the golden sunlight,
As warming rays pour onto us each day?
Have you ever touched the cool green of the river,
As it laughs and rushes on its merry way?
If you shower in the golden rays of sunshine,
And bathe within the waters clear and bright,
You will feel your soul awaken and grow stronger,
In your spirit you will know joy and delight.
Have you ever heard the whisper of the wind song,
As it softly breathes a gentle lullaby?
Have you ever listened to the night time silence,
Have you never reached out to the star lit sky?
So take the time to listen when the wind sings,
Sleep when you hear its soothing lullaby,
And dream within the silence of the nightime,
And fly with angels in the star lit sky.
Have you ever thought about how God must love us,
Have you ever wondered how this could be true?
Have you asked how God, who lives up in the Heavens,
Could take time for sinners just like me and you?
Oh my child, do you not know that God is calling,
Reaching out to you from Heaven up above?
Take His hand and place your total trust in Him now,
And rest within the wonder of His love.
