The Necessity of War

The pursuit of peace on earth is certainly the most noble of all ideals, the grand treasure and deepest yearning of each gentle spirit, and it is indeed the Christian duty to seek peace whenever possible (Romans 12:18). That said, we must however, keep in mind that world peace and the elimination of war, through human efforts is both logically and biblically impossible, for there will always be human beings who will resist peace efforts, desiring instead to enslave and dominate others (Matthew 24:6). For that very reason, military action for either self defensive or liberating purposes will always be required if freedom is to be maintained.

Throughout the Bible’s Old Testament, God (who never changes – Hebrews 13:8), repeatedly dispatched His chosen people (Israel), into wars and battles against idolatrous nations. Jehovah is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14 and Deuteronomy 4:24), not wanting the Jews (or Christians) to convert to any idolatry, He led Israel into battle time and time again to conquer the peoples and lands of the pagans (Numbers 31:1-7), indeed a “time for war” as spoken of in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. WARRING AGAINST THE DANGER OF IDOLATRY, ENSLAVEMENT OR DEATH!

In these times, although God indeed has averted his eyes off the nation of Israel due to their rejection of Jesus as Messiah, His heart is still with the Jews and His hand of protection remains on them (Ezekiel 36). Today, God has set the United States of America in the position to ally, defend and support Israel (His chosen people) until Christ physically returns in glory for all Israel to acknowledge as Messiah.

God’s Church (born again Christians worldwide), have been adopted into the family of God through the blood of Jesus Christ and are now “step-kin” to the Jews,….. God’s chosen people. God (who never changes), therefore wants Christians to seek the ways of peace WHEN POSSIBLE (Romans 12:18), without surrendering to either idolatry (Isalm), enslavement or death.

Peace has always required agreement, and (in some cases) even concession. The writings of Islam call for the complete destruction of God’s chosen people (Israel), a very adamant insistence of radical Islam. The Koran (Muslim holy book), calls for the death or enslavement of all “infidels” (those who do not embrace Islam) and since Muslims consider their “holy writings” to be sacred…the very law of Allah,…they pursue that violent mindset. WHERE IS THE AREA FOR COMPROMISE OR NEGOTIATION? Shall we then lay down our defenses and stand around a campfire holding hands and singing “Kum-By Yah”? Should we expect a miraculous conversion of all Islam to Christianity?….certainly not according to Jesus (Matthew 24:6 and Revelation 6:4). Wars will be part of this earthly existence until the Prince of Peace returns, it is human arrogance to think otherwise.

Radical Islamists hate America because it is allied with Israel, they don’t want peace…..THEY WANT TO KILL US AND “WIPE ISRAEL OFF THE MAP OF THE WORLD”! Our enemy is not so much people,.... not just Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbola, the Alaxa Martyrs Brigade, the Taliban, or even Osama Bin Laden himself, but rather an insane and evil mindset, with which there can be no compromise....RADICAL ISLAM! It is not identifiable by one uniform or contained within any one nation, it is WORLDWIDE…..a new kind of enemy beyond our past experience. Radical Isam thinks nothing of strapping AK-47’s on babies fresh out of the womb,or putting bombs on would be martyrs, then sending them out to murder a bus load of innocent school children in the name of Allah. HOW DO YOU COMPROMISE WITH THAT?!!!!

Jesus told us in Matthew 10:34-40, that His words and teachings would always be the cause of much conflict (the sword),...NOT PEACE;and that indeed brings us to where we are at today. It's Christianity against idolatry,....do we want to worship Jesus in freedom, or convert to the idolatry of Islam? We will always have to fight this murderous enemy somewhere. They’ve already proven on 911 they can get us anytime or anywhere, and so as much as I hate the fact that we have brave men and women dying in Iraq and Afghanistan everyday, it’s better that our non-combatant populace be protected by our soldiers chasing the enemy off into their “spider holes”, than a blood-bath in America’s streets.

War, as terrible and hideous as it indeed is, is unfortunately part of this sin-cursed world system. God tells us it will be around until Christ returns. So, we live in peace with all who want peace, but to those who would lead us into idolatry, enslave or kill us,…to those who refuse to respect our freedom or hold any value for innocent human life….there will be war.

What's this war about? It's about defending our freedom of religion from a "mindset" determined to force us into idolatry. It's about protecting America's future, our ally Israel and the world from Jihadists bent on world domination.
It's about protecting America from more incidents like 911. It is NOT about oil, the acquisition of lands or political control, that's a lie right from Satan himself,....IT'S ABOUT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS! That's what Jihad means "HOLY WAR", that's what these murderous radicals crave and long for....HOLY WAR against America and Israel. This war is about defending our liberty from a virtually invisible army of vicious murderers determined to either kill us or enslave us. I believe God is using America now at this time to defend religious liberty and provide protection for His chosen people...Israel. Remember, Islam is determined to completely destroy Israel. Do we want to give up and stand by while another Holocaust is perpetrated?

This is not only a just war, but a necessary one. Unfortunately, our leaders have made many mistakes so far in the prosecution of this war, and our President was not served well by our intelligence in this matter, however; the protection of our country and preservation of our way of life are vital. Indeed the cause is without question and America must remain resolute.

For those who don’t believe we should be fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan, I ask: Where would you choose for us to defend our lives and liberty…,in the enemy’s back yard where they congregate and assemble, or “on our backs” in the streets of America?
