In a church setting that looks much like any other an audience is clapping and praising God. For all who see it, the scene could be any church in America. At the front is a worship team leading the service of praise. For any one who enters, you think it is the Lord himself. As the worship ends, a man introduces the person all are waiting for. In the midst of an entourage, is a man. His name is Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda.
Jose Luis Miranda is called by many as "Jesus Christ man". He is a Puerto Rican Minister and head of Growing in Grace International Ministry. This ministry has literally taken off the ground with around 300 churches affiliated with him. His ministry has a huge following and makes enough money to allow this man of the cloth to live in luxury.
In another story I did on this "antichrist", the public was unaware of who he really is. As with most Americans, the public lets any nut case go about his business. This preacher is no different. As he brandishes his own gospel of deception, his followers are certain they are following the true "Jesus Christ, Son of God on Earth". The person of Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda, though, is a changing spectacle. In a recent article by MSNBC titled "He Calls Himself God", they revealed another stepping stone in the ongoing tale of this "man who appears as God". MSNBC stated that this man is now calling himself “the Antichrist" complete with a tattooed "666" on his arm. MSNBC is quoted as saying:
"Two years ago at Growing in Grace's world convention in Venezuela, he declared himself Christ. And just last week, he called himself the Antichrist and revealed a "666" tattooed on his forearm. His explanation: that, as the second coming of Christ, he rejects the continued worship of Jesus of Nazareth".
Jesus Christ, Messiah Yeshua, the true Son of God warned us of this time. He again and again warns us against the deception in the last days, deception of 'false Christ’s' and 'false prophets' who lead people away from the True Son of God.
Matthew 24:4 ¶And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
It is the American people and those who indulge this lifestyle of opulence that are now met with this deception. For many do not see the harm in such a man as Joes Luis protraying himself as some kind of savior. Over the ages many have done it. For those in America, however, the stakes are very high. Their own kids are at sake, the truth is at stake, and finally all those who are pushing this garbage are lost in blindness.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
It should not be surprising we are seeing such power of deception today. It is certainly true that we are in the Last days. We are also in the time of deception, a time of lawlessness, and a time ripe for the appearance of "the angel of darkness as a minister of light". Paul says on this matter:
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Further Paul also warned that the last days would see a delusion so powerful that many would be led away with it. Why? It is, Paul says, because they have not "received the love of the truth, therefore, God will send them a powerful delusion that they should believe a lie". The context of what Paul says about this is:
2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Moreover, Isaiah speaks of such delusion that came to Israel. Isaiah goes further, warning that because when God called and no one answered that in fact, the Lord would choose their delusions and bring their fears upon them.
Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
Has America wandered away from the truth? Has the church in fact been so wrapped up in itself that they have forgotten the One True God and His only son Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ)? There is no doubt that the church in America is splintered into many denominations. The church also has money, wealth, and power. But where is the real truth? Do we really have the discipleship mentality and stalwart obedience? For many who have been in the church, the rewards have been one of a harsh reward. Within the walls of the church in America has risen strife, discord, carnality, and a lack of true love one for another. The church has been one where if you are injured, then we end up shooting the lame and broken hearted. Many a person has tire marks on his back where they have been run over by the mob of the local church.
It is true that disaffection has caused a wholesale withdrawal from the denominational church of today. These people go to in home churches, while others often choose to find their worship alone with God. In addition the internet has proven a choice for some to find solace and fellowship in God. Many long for a true loving, brethren embracing, and Christ loving experience. What they have found in many churches in America is far from that.
This disaffection is what the type of deception that Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda offers to fix. Within his fellowship you can find answers, loving people, and a God you can see. For those who go, they believe this is right. For as the saying goes "how can it be wrong if it feels so right"? How you ask? Read the scripture and beware. There is only one Son of God and he warned us of people like Jose Luis who set himself up as Christ or the AntiChrist. Further, Paul says and warns us that even if an "angel from heaven preaches any other gospel unto you than that which we (the apostles) have received, let him be accursed".
Galatians 1:6 ¶I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Men like Jose will continue to grow as we approach the True Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The light of deception will cause many to grow weary and follow the light of anyone who brings them relief. This man or deceiver is destined to be a delusion for many, as he brings his own brand of light. Sometime in the past of Jose, he had visitors who were supernatural. These visitors to Jose brought him a deception which he wanted, one that he and those who follow him will pay for before the True Lord of Glory. Again I say to you, beware of deception.
As for the church today, it will go through the Smelter of the Lord in the land of the Free. My book D Day for America reveals this. The fact is, God knows the state of the church and will deal with it. The scripture warns us by God and the apostle Peter.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
