In the journey of the day
To meet friends we love
In a certain kind of way,
Who have shared moments
And little deeds
And helped with those
Times of needs.
The unseen who are
Far far away
But send a message
To lighten the day.
The ones close by we
Know so well
Whose thoughts and wisdom
They’re inclined to tell.
The others who have
Gone away
Who we’ll meet again
Some wonderful day.
The friendless who are
Lost and alone
To pray for them we have
Never known
For you O God love
Each one I know
May our life in You
Just grow and grow.
