Now there are many burdens
So much for us to bear
Heartaches by the number
Temptations everywhere
So many things to try us
That could destroy our very soul
Satan tugging at us to turn back
As we journey toward our goal
But if we keep our eyes on Jesus
And hang on a little while
He’ll take away all the tears
And turn them into a smile
For someday there’ll be no sorrow
No more harsh words to depress
No sickness and no dying
No hard times and no stress
And Satan will never touch us
He never can again
No longer able to tempt us
As he does now and then
Life will be so easy
We’ll wonder why the fuss was made
We’ll wonder why we ever cried
Or ever were afraid
We probably won’t remember
What misery was all about
And I know we’ll never miss it
When we get to live without
If today it seems you can’t
Find a way to get through
Remember how it’ll be someday
And the life He’s prepared for you
It’s sure to lift your spirit
To think about all this-
Of how life will be in Heaven
In joyous, peaceful bliss
