I felt that growth within my womb,
the little flutters of your existence.
Brought about us a great big smile,
But, only for a little while.
Your Daddy loved you from the start,
he rejoiced knowing you at an instant.
His caress and tenderness welcomed love,
But, only for a little while.
It was so grand and so profound,
you were nothing other than our love child.
I loved your Dad, but, Oh! so much,
I ponder often at his touch.
My love for you both, will never be….
