I remember back when I was a child my Mother would let me see; her jewelry box was full of treasure, that I got to try on me.
I picked up a bracelet with dangly charms so delicate, each had a story to tell, and when I held it in my hand, I'd make my own stories up as well.
She had a ring of blue and silver, with platinum leaves on the side, and the sapphires all arranged in a circle, with a diamond tucked inside.
Looking back at that memory now I think that I just might be one of the jewels in God's treasure box, and each day He is polishing me.
He put me in a brand new setting, this gem I was becoming for Him, and filled me with the fire of His love, a glow that will never dim.
Later on, God added another, the perfect matching gem by my side, and joined together, the two became as one, like hearts filled with love inside.
Joy is the sparkle, love is the glow that makes for happiness so true, for God gave me a treasure box of my own, and inside is my love for you!
How can I ever thank God enough, for making my life so beautiful and new and for giving me treasure beyond any worth, my gift of love that I have in you?
