I see you, God--
The flowers of the field
Reveal your beautiful,
Delicate touch--
The mountain ranges display
Your awesom reach
And the ocean waves show your power.
The universe is in league with me,
Telling me the greatness of your mind
And in nature's gentle care of creation
I see your heart.
The rivers running to the sea teach me
That your guiding hand encloses
All of life,
For the oceans return their portion
Once again, and all is well.
The tears on a father's cheek show me
That you feel for man, your child,
And I know the constance of your love
By day and night unending.
I see you, God,
In the Son who came--
The ultimate display of who you are--
The wondrous sign
That you will never leave me alone.
