Author requests article critique

Clouded is the day
In the midst of things
The things that have been

Clouded is the day
Yet clear is my mind
Ever searching for words

Those words to be written
Tirelessly by my own hand
My thoughts of the moment

A moment in time
That fine moment of life
The life which is mine

A never ending endeavor
To record my thoughts
As the day passes me by

Even after my memory is dim
Perhaps the words may live on
May inspiration be found

In these words written
Another may take the time
Including their thoughts

Inspiration to write
A gift so special to me
I write that which I feel

I write that which I think
I write that in which I believe
Fondness for the written verse

Fondness I have for it
Food for my soul it is
Goodness shall it ever be

Yes clouded may be this day
But God's gift it truely is
Give thanks for every one

I loved this! Not sure whether I loved it most because I related so much to it, or because of the rhythmic flow of each stanza. Excellent! With love, Deb
