In The Clouds
IN THE CLOUDS
As I look up in the morning and see sun risen clouds
I wonder if any one else sees the Son; the selfish, arrogant, and the proud
Or has their hearts been hardened causing the view to be a shroud
Maybe it would do them good if I screamed and yelled real loud
But I sit and watch in awe as the colors change before my eyes
Being a reminder that He is real and hears all my cries
I wonder how my spiritual life has withered and dried
The thought of the Living Spring Waters brings a heavy sigh
Does anybody else sense and feel the glory of the rising Son
Is there anybody else that wonders and waits for Him to come
The colors blurred in my tear filled eyes bring hope for fun
Knowing the moisture assures me that there is still hope for some
The colors should make me smile and say “Hi” to a stranger
Hoping to tell him the storey of the manger
Offering life and salvation to him; a homeless lone ranger
Relieving his hunger, filling his soul, taking away the danger
It’s still just about the rising of the Son in this storey
All wrapped up in the clouds with color announcing His glory
I watch each time anticipating the trumpet and the roaring
But as the colors fade away and I wonder on……….
There is always in the morning.
