Brighter in Heaven
just wait and see
paradise a waiting
for you and me.
Meanwhile here on Earth
it may be rough
might be some trials
once in Heaven
we will have forgotten
the many tough ridden miles.
Traveled through life
with the good bad and sad
yes much strife
thinking of loved ones
thank God
we had.
Ones to love
shared in our life
lost a few
blessed again
with a God given wife.
She came when least expected
thought I would never find
God loving and fearing lady
a wife so kind.
I love her much
after running wild
what a job
when she took me on
I will love Lizzie forever
until
I am long gone.
Then to see her again
in Heaven above
with no more
pain wars shame
only love.
Praising God
for ever and ever
blessed in Heaven
doesn't get better !
