Because of our passion for Christ, we therefore have a passion for forgiveness. We know that unless we are forgiven and made holy, we will never spend eternity with God and His only Son.
On the other hand, there are those that just want to be saved for the rewards they will get, once saved and they know they must be forgiven and redeemed first. Therefore they have a passion for Christ because of this passion for forgiveness.
We must worship the Provider, not the Grace.
The disciples fully understood this when they suffered and died with glad hearts, for God’s kingdom.
