I write this for all of us who go to work every day and struggle at times to motivate ourselves.
Sometimes we think of other careers, coming into money, or being able to have our dream job.
I have a good career and a job that I like for the most part, however sometimes I just feel I should be doing so much more.
Then while in prayer and doing some reading I came across some writings by a Saint. I fail to recall which one, and have probably read it more than once.
I am surmising now, but it goes something like this. Not everyone can be a beautiful flower in the garden of life. Someone will have to do the weeding. If that is you, be content that you are still apart of the garden.
And now my thoughts.
It is important as we go thru our daily tasks in life that we learn to be content. Not every person will be rich, have the biggest house, or have the best career.
No life will be full of challenges and obstacles that we are meant to overcome. With prayer and God’s help, we can overcome anything God willing.
God has a plan for each one of us and we will never fully comprehend how our actions and interactions affect the lives of other people. Only God knows and sees this.
So before, you complain about the daily grind, your job, or the weather. Remember to think big picture and be happy with the little things.
When the heart is at peace and in harmony with the Lord, you will be content in your daily tasks whatever they may be.
Glory to God! Alleluia!
