Alone at the time
I sat with my thoughts.
The hours of lonliness,
and the love I sought.
Indecision and pain,
Were all I could see.
An end to the darkness,
that for a lifetime surrounded
me.
I made my decision, his opinion
I did not ask.
Not until my eyes were opened
Did i see the real pain behind my
mask.
As if it were not me,
A call did I place.
The special angel at the
other end,
Never had I even seen his
face.
His words were not his own,
Gods whisper was the real sound.
True love from above,
Gods hand now reaching down.
He pulled me from below,
deep waters surrounded me.
His voice so strong and warm
The light from heaven I now could
see.
His words of encouragement,
lifted my heart,
I had chosen my end,
Now God said "Wait"
Ahead of you there is
a new start."
He said "Your paths you had chose,
They were yours to pick,
I had a better way for you,
Now if your ready pick up your
stick."
"Follow me with everything you
say and do.
The answers to your prayers are
right there for you "
"I did not forget you, or walk away,"
"I waited all along for you to
ask me to stay."
This is my testimony,for all you who read this.
God brought me back from death, the path I chose.
He brought me an angel, through him he gave me the encouragement that brought me back. My whole life was ahead of me and what was told to me came true. The years of lonliness came to an end, The family , The love I prayed and begged for came to me exactly three weeks after I gave up. The light I saw that morning, was unimaginable, The voice,The love I found saved me. God is in control, dont ever give up.
