In this quietness I listen

"In this quietness I listen"

In this quietness I listen
to hear Your still small
voice;as the angels gaze
upon You on
Your Holy Throne.

Heaven’s latitude is directed
towards this place;where
here am I Lord I seek
Your Holy Face.

The angels whisper in a
hush; as bended knees
bow on earth;as prayers are
echoed through out
the universe.

Man and the Heart of
God meet;supplications
from the hearts of souls;
are placed before God’s Holy
Throne.

Rays of golden light touch
each prayer as they unfold
before the Tender
Heart of God;
who cares.

From the heart of man
stars of hope and beacons
of light spring forth
in the heart of Faith;
knowing there is a
God of Love who dwells
in Heaven's Place.

Inspired by God

as prayers are echoed through out the universe.

Dee, I love this line. I thought about how when a rock is thrown into a stream, the ripple spreads farther and farther out. Also, one speaks and an echo is heard in the distance. Our prayers are like that, they have effect far away. Thanks for sharing.

"Rays of golden light touch each prayer as they unfold before the Tender Heart of God; who cares." What a lovely poem, divinely inspired by God. Thank you for sharing these life-giving words with us, sister Dee. God bless!
