Contention promoting intervention,
Tests breeding testimonies,
That’s the mystery of the Gospel.
Barrenness the womb of greatness,
Humility the ladder mastery,
Humiliation preceding promotion,
That’s the mystery of the gospel.
Suffering paving the way to reigning,
Vilification preceding celebration,
Small beginning leading to great ending.
That’s the mystery of the Gospel.
The lamb becoming a lion,
The just suffering for the unjust,
Dying to self to live life abundant,
That is the mystery of the Gospel.
