Shine Brightly as My Star
I Sam.8:1-3; Dan.12:3; Matt.13:43;Heb.11:35-40
This world is looking for superstars with a shiny coating on them. The high, the mighty, the arrogant, the popular and the wealthy are idolized by the deceived multitudes as being very great. The world buys the flash of the false and rejects the reality of true believers who are humble in heart and speak only the truth.
I have sent My faithful messengers into this earth. Throughout the long centuries since My ascension they have been spat upon, mocked and rejected time and again. Some have been burnt at the stake. Some have been beaten and crucified or torn apart by lions. Others have languished in prison. But as they walked this present Vale of Tears My faithful messengers have resisted the temptation to tone down their message of the coming Day of the Lord and His terrible wrath about to be poured out upon a sinful humanity. Oh, it would have been so much easier to have compromised as so many do today. It would have been easy to do like the sons of Samuel and take a bribe. But these faithful men, women and children of the Cross kept a far worthier prize in view: to reign with Me in My coming Kingdom.
Wicked men and women will not be persuaded by intellectual arguments, for they have no desire to part from their pet beliefs which drown a soul in perdition. Only the light of My Holy Spirit shining forth within their hearts to convict them of sin will awaken them before it is everlastingly too late.
Be faithful to be a watchman on the tower in these final days before I appear. Do not be swayed from your post by the lure of false riches and popularity. I do not have superstars in My Kingdom. I have stars who shine brightly so that their good works might be manifest to come from Me, that My name might be glorified throughout the earth.
