The Enemy is Lurking

For look at the body it is crumbling down
For the enemy is lurking and sneaking around.

Beware Oh body beware and take heed
The enemy is lurking and sowing bad seed.

Beware oh body beware of the fall
The enemy is lurking he is dividing you all.

A body is crippled without the use of an arm or a leg
It can’t serve to its full potential for witch it was made.

Oh body, oh body so look unto the Lord.
He can bring you all back to one accord.

Seek Him oh Body seek His holy face
Come to repentance receive His mercy and grace.

Humble your self to Him answer His mighty call
For the enemy is seeking destruction of all.

Oh body oh body pull the planks out of your eyes
For the enemy is building strongholds and hiding in disguise.

Oh body oh body put down your hurt feelings, your pettiness and dismay
Oh body pick up the cross and claim victory today.

Oh Body humble your self repent and turn away
Let the Lord Jesus fight the battle toady.

It is interesting to read the poem as though you are talking to the chuch or the body of Christ. It is also interesting to read it as though you are talking to yourself. I enjoyed reading your poem

So true of many churches today. And to think you wrote this is about five minutes (I watched you write it). This a good reminder to be united within the whole church of Christ and follow Him- we have to work through issues for His glory. Thanks for sharing.
