When God Speaks to Your Soul

A subtle hint in your soul
Nothing right out blatant.
Your heart tells you yes,
Your head tells you no.

Godís still, small voice is pricking,
Manís thrashing, loud voice lingers.
Why canít it be simple?
Because destinyís worth a fight.

The subtle hint is followed by another.
Slowly the plot unravels.
Coming, coming, coming.
Each time a little more apparent.

Then it spirals into place all at once,
Everything just seems to happen.
You wake up one morning and realize
Your subtle hint is now your life!

Yes, our Divine Destiny is worth the fight. I really enjoyed your poem. Blessings

Sounds so familiar - the story of every child of God, I believe. The more it happens and we pay attention with an obedient ear, the easier it gets to distinguish the voices. Beautiful poem. Janice
