A Christmas Prayer

Heavenly Father, today I meditate on the glorious birth of Your son Jesus. How you loved your creation enough to send your only begotten son to be the Savior of the world. Christmas is not about brightly lit trees or a fat man in a red suit. Itís about the greatest gift the world has ever received. And Iím going to take Your precious gift and share it with everyone I meet, not only at Christmas time, but through out the new year. And I thank you for the gift of life, You sent me.

In Jesus name.

Scriptures for meditation, this Christmas season.

In him was life, and that life was the light of men. (John 1:4)(NIV)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.(John 1:3)(NIV)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John1:14)(NIV)
