Single leaves burst
forth on branches with
green growth of leaves
straining up toward heaven.
Grass covered hills,
plush, soft,
alive to the touch.
Sparkling water
winding through the trees
flowing around mounds
of earth
reflecting the heavens above.
I wish to lie there
beside the singing water
on the green grass
under the shading trees
And become one with all.
To join within God’s cycle
of wondrous creation, rebirth,
and resurrection.
