The second that I saw your faces
I knew that I had been blessed
Smiled upon from Heaven above
Given God’s most gracious caress
A gift, that of having children
Life that had came from mine
Gave a new meaning to my life
A meaning so joyous and divine
Overtime I’ve watched you grow
From infant to teen to adult
Though amazing to see this happen
Accepting it is also difficult
It’s like yesterday you were born
My, the years went by so fast
No matter you’re still Dad’s little girls
As much now as in the past
You’re grown and have children now
You’ll witness what I’ve gone through
Over the years as you watch them grow
New lives that have come from you
