Oh child of mine, oh grown up son, from the time you left the cradle of my arms, my prayer was that you grow to be mighty in spirit and that you find favor, like Jesus did, with God and man, but you stepped out of my arms and found the world cruel. It was not long before you found yourself ensnared and entrapped into a generational curse that eventually held dire consequences and bound you.
Oh my son, you have now become spiritually blind to the reality of a Heavenly Father whose heart broke when your earthly father rejected the love offered to him. Your father did not take the key that would unlock his chains that held him bound. He was held captive to the demons of his own childhood of abuse and alcohol, which were passed down to him from his father and the father before him.
Oh my son, I stand in the gap for you to be free; to have the deep wounds left from your secret childhood salved by a parent who says, “I am a father to the fatherless.” (Psalm 68:5 NIV) Anger, bitterness and hatred have been passed down to you, and it has scarred your soul. This has left a void that can only be filled by your Heavenly Father; He is the only one that can heal you.
Oh my son, you are deceived. You perpetuate a lie of your self-made humanistic world that evolved without the breath, hand, and word of a creator. That deception was made obvious at the birth of your own son; a two pound baby boy that even the doctors called a “a miracle baby,” but your determination to attribute his staying alive to science and modern technology, denying the power of all the prayer that went up on his behalf, and the wisdom and skill from the doctors minds and hands that came from God, saddens me. I know that you could not see, nor acknowledge his will to live came from some power outside of this world.
Oh my son, take off the blinders and see the true Son, dying for you to open your heart and accept His Father’s unconditional love. Believe in Him; believe that He wants you to be free, to give you the promise of hope, blessings, and eternal life.
Oh my son, the path of disbelief you are on is the same path tread by your forefathers; one that led them into a deep dark abyss. Their pride, selfishness, and rebellion hardened their hearts so that no seeds of love could ever germinate and take root to grow. Turn around my son; do you see the small footsteps following behind you? Do you see that the links in your chain may someday bind him as well?
Oh my son, I can only make this plea once to you, but I will forever intercede for you to God, until your ears hear the cry from a Heavenly Father bidding you, “Come home my son. Come home.”
