Prophecy teachers have spent far too many hours on this topic. There are so many convention and studies that leads to false ends.
If you want to know when the rapture will happen, then the only sign to look for is found in
"To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people’s trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming. But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love."
And 2 Peter 3:14:
"Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless."
And Ephesians 5:27:
"That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."
Be not deceived, until you see this, there will be no rapture of "any" church no matter who may be saying that Jesus can come back at any moment because of the signs of Israel are being fulfilled or will be fulfilled. The sign we should be seeking is the maturity of the Church. Does this look like it will happen any day? I don’t think so.
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Jn 13:34,35
No one knows the hour and the day of the return of Christ. Your article states the truth of what we are to be doing and how we should be living. And there will be many left behind at the glorious appearance of Christ. So let us work daily to achieve the Great Commission and make believers (disciples) of all mankind. I agree that there is too much speculation on when; the question should be what are you doing in the meantime ..
