And Jesus Cried
The world was formed by His hand
It was great, It was grand
He made a woman and a man
Yet this was all His perfect plan
Evil came into the land
Serpent lied, sin began
And Jesus saw this with His eyes
And He bowed His head and cried
Yes Jesus cried because he saw
A world of darkness, hurt and pain
He knew that He would have to die
So we'd be saved and He could reign
And so He cried upon a tree
On a hill called Calvary
Father forgive them it is true
That they don't know what they do
And God looked down from heaven above
At His son in tender love
And raised Him up in victory
So we could be forever free
One day soon he'll take us home
and He'll cry out with glee
Come see what I have made for you
For you believed in me
