The Place of Emptiness
I came to the place of emptiness
I came to the place of need
Hurting, alone and filled with pain
Not sure I could succeed
God told me that he brought me there
So I could trust in Him
He wanted me to truly know
He'd save me from my sin
He said he had a plan for me
I never was alone
For He was always there for me
And loved me as His own
He said you need to follow me
I'll take your pain and tears
For power only comes from me
Throughout your earthly years
I have the final say you see
My words will never die
I'll take you in my loving arms
And help you when you cry
I'll come again and see you soon
And you will live with me
Forever in my glorious home
Forgiven, saved and free
