I win!

Neither of us says a word.
We sit quietly.
Waiting.
I'm weighing the decision in my mind.
I think quickly.
Questioning.
I look at the clock--ten minutes gone by.
I'm getting angry.
Deciding...
Such a stupid fight-
Why had it taken so long?!
I've finally made up my mind...

To just eat the meal sitting in front of me.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Whitney, a small poem but very powerful. May God grant all the strength you need to continue walking in your victory. - Jay Cookingham

Lovely poem! I hope it's okay to confess that I also found it slightly humourous?...the way you ended it, that is - not the experience itself. Keep going girl!!!

Whitney, you did indeed win. Believe me, I relate to this more than anyone possibly realises, having experienced my own battle (the same one) just three short years ago. Like you, I won, and all I can say gorgeous girl is keep winning! You have a wonderful destiny ahead of you and like your friend's Mother, I'm here on the other side of the world cheering you on! With love, Deb
