Encouragement
One day Jesus came to the temple of Jerusalem, many people came to hear Him. He preached the Word to them. Meantime some scribes and Pharisees who were experts in the study of the Law of Moses came to Jesus and complained Him about a woman who had committed adultery and according to the Law she was to be stoned. So they had stones in their hands too. They specially asked Jesus what was His opinion! Jesus looked down; I believe Jesus was very sad in his heart. Why? Because He knew that those who had brought the woman were guilty too, because they knew the Law they were guiltier. Perhaps more guiltier then the woman caught in adultery. So Jesus did not look up. We don't know what he wrote in the dust. But I can imagine what my Saviour wrote. He must have written, "All are Sinners. None is Righteous".
But the mob felt very uneasy. They did not take trouble to read what the Saviour wrote. They again asked Jesus about his opinion. Then Jesus very calmly said for the welfare of the two parties, the person who has never sinned throws the first stone at the woman. The Lord smote them with the Sword of His mouth. Scriptures says, the word of God is so powerful that it searches the inner parts of our hearts. It is really very sharp. This happened to the scribes and Pharisees. They began to search their hearts. It was found out that they had not lived according to the standard of the Law. One by one their sins came before their eyes. They were very eager to throw the first stone at the woman if found sinless. But that did not happen, everybody realized that he was nit the first person to attack the woman. Some were ashamed when they saw their shameful sins before their eyes. When you come into the presence of the Lord- His holy presence helps you to see your sinful nature because then only you know that you need a Saviour, who can wash away your sin and make you a new person. But none dared to be humble and confess his sin. All of them lost the opportunity. Instead they went away home. The stones they brought with them fell down from their loose hands.
Then Jesus spoke to the woman, said I too do not blame you. But do not sin again. The woman went away home being a new person. To forgive sin is His authority. Be sure all are sinners. But being a sinner when you judge other person God does not like it. He at once shows His compassion for that person, because He loves all. Scribes and Pharisees were very strong men, but the Lord took the side of the helpless woman and saved her from the heartless treacherous people- why? Because He is God He knows how to save the down trodden and of those who are helpless.
Rejoice and thank the Lord when people blame you because you are a sinner. For the Lord is for you. Did not two men go the temple, One though himself a sinner blamed the other, the other knew he was a sinner, so he confessed himself being a sinner and became meek before the Lord. Will you tell whom the Lord blessed? Put your pride aside don't judge others, be meek and He will cleanse you and make you a new person and use you for His Glory. Then only you shall be His witness.
The Scribes and Pharisees used stones to kill a woman and send her to the hell for eternity. Though they knew the Law they could do nothing to save a Soul going into hell. David a young boy loved by God used a tiny piece of stone to kill a giant who was threatening God's people. He used the piece of stone in the name of Mighty God and God honoured his faith and the evil giant was killed. With the stones the hearers of Stephen killed him. His physical body was wounded very badly and he died. But the stones thrown by the people who could not believe his testimony could not harm his soul. It was safe with the Lord.
Those who use stones to ruin others lives are in danger of losing their Salvation. Use a stone to hit the devil in you and be victorious as David was. This same David when became King he stumbled by the charm of a bathing woman. To take the woman he thought of a bad plan and any way put his plan into action. The man was killed. As men of God this action of his was totally unforgivable in the eyes of God. But David did not die why? God knew David, his heart, his weakness, his love for God. David did not die- because God looked down the corridors of time and saw a Cross where Jesus Christ would die for David's sin and for the sin's of all mankind who would believe in Him. This same God visited this world and gave His life for us. There is no limit to His Love.
In His Service,

Let me guess; a young writer with a dream and possibly a young believer (aren't we all?). I so appreciate the sharing of your heart in this article. Insightful and heartfelt. First of all, regardless of the critiques you read, don't ever stop writing. It's more rewarding than you may realize but it is, at times, hard work. I mean, there will be times you will have to find a different way to say the exact same thing. Keep at it. Learn to space your paragraphs apart; this article was meant for our hearts and when it is running together like this our heads have to get involved and that can oftentimes cause our hearts to "lost their hearing". There are many grammar courses available online and although I have been writing for a long time I still go back and take a refresher course. Punctuation, verb tenses and so on, there is much to learn....let me just say this, as I am fond of sharing with other writers as to why I critique as I do: A sharp arrow flies further. That is why I seem to nit-pick, because it is clear to me that you mean to reach many people and the sharper your writing skills (the arrow) the further your writings will go. You see?
