WE live and we die
WE laugh and we cry
We work and we try
To live a good life
We dream and we hope
That things can get better
Than they are now
Though we don’t know how or whether
They won’t or they will
It’s hard to be still when
You’re trying to get ahead
But whatever the situation
That I may find myself in
I’ll try to remember
That Love always wins

Again, reminds me of Ecclesiastes - the sections about "there is a time and a season"....And as the Preacher ended it with a profound statement, you did as well - that remembering and doing love is most important of all. This reads really close to structured prose, with some internal rhyming and structure. Really tight structure compared to your experimentations with looser prose. I think your looser stuff is more expressive and creative, and your structured stuff is more like parable and wisdom poetry. Good job.
