As I come into Thy Presence
and long for Your embrace
tired and weary, still I seek Your face.
You refresh, renew and heal
speak peace into my heart.
You bring me rest each evening
and at daybreak, a good start.
Your words an awesome promise
of comfort and of love
You commune with your daughter
and shine down from Heaven above.
You make Your presence real
to my doubting heart and mind
and even when I seem uncaring
You are always understanding and kind.
I pray Lord, that Your presence
is with me every day
not just when I am at rest
or just when I pray.
But in every moment
of this life of mine
I seek your presence, everyday
I seek Your plans, divine.
