The name of Jesus brings division. He said so in Luke’s gospel (see scripture reference below). He will cause division in your own household. Believe me, I know. Most of the time I feel closer to my church family than my own flesh and blood. It’s because Jesus has divided us. They are not believer’s and I am. Oh, they say they believe but the bible says we will know them by their fruits. I haven’t seen any fruits of the Spirit. I have been praying for them for years. At times I can ‘let go and let God’ but at other times I desperately beg the Lord to save their souls. I know time is short and I want to be with them in heaven. I can’t stand the thought of them being cast into hell, forever separated from God.
Jesus also said not to cast our pearls before swine. I think that means if someone rejects the gospel over and over, leave them be. That is so hard for me to do. So I just keep trying and…….praying. I will pray every single day and not give up, ever. God will answer in His time, I know that.
Today my husband went to church with me for the first time this year. I thought "this is the day!" I was so excited and full of the Spirit. He only goes about once per year, usually Easter or Christmas. Anyway, I could sense the Holy Spirit working on him just by his body language. But he didn’t give in. The Pastor even preached the perfect salvation message, the music brought me to tears, but still he didn’t allow the Holy Spirit to have His way. I guess I was very disappointed and that is why I am pouring my heart out to you now.
God is so good and He has blessed me in so many ways. I want everyone to really KNOW His goodness and mercy. Especially my loved ones. I hope you feel the same way. There is a lost and dying world out there. Not only out there, but in our own homes. Please pray for Revival in America and all over the world. This name that causes so much division is also the Savior of this lost and dying world. They need Him so desperately. Please join me right now in praying for every single family member and friend that you know of who needs Jesus. Prayer is so powerful and it is a gift and a privilege to us. I believe prayer can and will change the course of a life, a country, or even the world! Let’s petition God to bring Revival, that He will kindle the hearts of the lost and draw them unto Himself before it’s eternally too late. Time is so short. Thanks for your prayers. This brought tears to my eyes as I reflected upon all the precious souls whom I know and Love who have not experienced the Love and Mercy of Jesus into their hearts. Soooooooooo many precious souls not knowing of His Amazing Love and Grace.
Where would I be with out the Love of Jesus?I fear that question the most!!!

Julia, my heart aches for you. You have such a tender heart. I am sure your family sees this in you. You have heard that "you are the only Bible that the world reads." (something like that). Well, you are the only Bible your family reads. Just by your life you are portraying Jesus. You are a living testimony. If they won't listen to your words, they will watch your actions. They will see Jesus in you. As with your friend at work to whom you witnessed, all you can do is tell your family of God's love and show them through your living testimony. God will bring them to Him one day. "Let your light so shine before men that they will see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." You are letting your light shine. Take courage. My step-mother prayed for her son for 50 years and died before she saw him come to the Lord. But he did, just a few months after his mom died--in March of this year. So don't give up hope, Julia. Don't give up hope!
'Pearls before swine'. I too have been hearing this all day long--I just finished telling my thirteen year old not to cast his pearls before swine (i.e.-the new Fender electric guitar that he just bought at the pawn shop with money he earned from working--he took it outside to show some of his 'friends' and some of them would love nothing more than to hurt him in any way possible!)
