When the darkness seems to prevail
I turn my eyes,my heart to the
One I Love; Oh Holy One.
You know my pain;You
forgive my sin and Your
Love reigns in me each new day.
I have Joy in my heart that
desires to always stay.
Dear God,where would I be
with out the Love that carries
me in the wind and the rain.
The Love that heals all pain;
and washes away my crimson
red sin’s stain. Your Love is a fresh
anointing washing over me;
and I have joy in the midst
of pain. I can forgive knowing
I’m forgiven by You;and with
that forgiveness I can extend
it to all; and have no barriers
of an unforgiving wall.
In the dawn of the new day
I see Your grace and mercy.
Your Love fills my mind and
heart to believe that
I can walk in the storms; and
rise above the pain in knowing
that I’m forgiven time and time
again.You lovingly
take the hammer and nails
from me; as I regretfully
see Your Nail pierced Hands;
what my sin has done to Thee.
Oh Jesus,Your Mercy
washes over me,as tears
of sorrow fills my eyes.
Oh Jesus,I know that Your grace
and mercy washes away all my sins;
and I know that I’m eternally
forgiven time and time again.
Oh Lord,Your peace and joy enters
once again into my heart;
and my soul is joyfully restored.
I’m preoccupied having my heart
and mind stayed on Thee.
I see a rainbow of Your Glory,
as Your Face,Lord,Is smiling
down on me. Your Grace is lifting
me higher to the heights of
Heaven each new day on this journey
I believe. Your unconditional
Love is completing me;and enabling
me to be what your will is for me.
To feel Your Everlasting Love;
To know Your Grace; and to walk
in the forgiveness I have been given;
I believe I will continue to share
Your Love and I will keep my eyes
And my heart and mind stayed
on Thee;and I will have
perfect peace, as I worship
and serve Thee.
Your Joy fills my soul;Your peace
gives me strength, as I journey
each new day; and Your Grace
awakens my soul
to rise above the strife and the
sorrow, as You shower Your
Amazing Love in my life.
To this world I will share
The Truth of My Joy in knowing
That I’m forgiven;that I’m eternally
Loved; and that there is a place
waiting for me and all the saints
in Heaven one day;All Praise

This is a Devotion which my Dear Loving Husband David was Inspired to write recently.
"Joyfully Preoccupied"
If a person was to look up the meaning of the word “ preoccupy”; it would probably be defined as follows: “ the primary focus of thought in a person’s mind which would result in forgetting other thoughts of: events, feelings and other things”.
From a Christian Biblical perspective, this can be beneficial if our preoccupation is: “to be instrumental in Glorifying God.” When we trust in God’s Loving, Mercy to equip us with the Grace we need to be preoccupied on Glorifying God: in the very essence of our inner Redeemed, Regenerated beings, in our thoughts, in our words, and in our deeds, then we will experience forgetting thoughts of: seeking immediate gratification and justice, hurt feelings and fear; regardless of the adverse, ominous situations we will find ourselves in. Such a state of mind is to be joyfully preoccupied. Philippians 4: (King James Version) 19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Oh, Dee...I agree - this is magnificent! I loved what you wrote here: "I can forgive knowing I’m forgiven by You;and with that forgiveness I can extend it to all; and have no barriers
of an unforgiving wall." As our dear Lord crumbled the barriers to forgiveness, He made it possible for us to do the same! The image of 'an unforgiving wall' is incredible!
