NOTE: I wrote this in the last week of the Beth Moore Bible study, Believing God. It is a testimony to what God confirmed and revealed to me through the study as well as to what He has done both in and for me. I believe His Word is infallible. I believe He is the same yesterday, today, and forever...the Great I AM, the Ancient of Days; my Lord, Savior, Redeemer and Friend; my Life.

Believing God
Ah, Sovereign LORD,
Maker of heaven and earth, (1)
Thou art who Thou sayest,
And bestow on me Your worth.
Once clothed in rags,
You’ve changed my dress
To a mantle of praise— (2)
Your righteousness. (3)
By grace through faith
In Christ alone, (4)
You change me
To the marrow of my bone. (5)
Former enemy of God (6)
And dead in sin, (7)
Through faith, redeemed,
Now called Your friend. (8)
In love, I’m blessed,
Chosen, forgiven,
Adopted, accepted,
Predestined for heaven. (9)
Christ has the victory
Over death and the grave. (10)
In my weakness, He is strength; (11)
He makes me brave!
With His infinite grace
And by His might,
I raise my shield,
Ready to fight!
With Sword drawn in hand,
Shield of faith lifted high,
We go forth in battle,
My Victor and I. (12)
Stepping up by faith
In Jesus’ name,
I stand on the Word,
His promises I claim. (13)
Strongholds must be broken.
Nations must be won.
Father, pour Your Spirit forth
To the glory of Your Son!
I do believe. Help my unbelief! (14)
This is my heart’s earnest plea.
Increase my faith, my Father;
Nothing is too difficult for Thee! (15)
Believing God—
This is my breath.
To gain Him is life, (16)
All else is death.
Laura - This is beautiful and very creative. I also do Beth Moore's Bible studies. She is so inspiring and in tune with God. I have learned much from her. Thanks for sharing. In Christ's Love,
