Poetry
He did not come riding on a horse,
Traversing through a majestic course,
Majesty we cannot though him deny.
He was born a King and this is no lie.
Jesus traveled throughout Israel sharing his wisdom,
Asking others to follow Him and come,
Along the way and become a part of his kingdom.
As a great and mighty King who He was and is still,
We recognize what a sacrifice He made on Calvary Hill.
Jesus showed us the mighty love coming from the Father;
Yet there are still those, who with Him do not bother.
They live their lives without asking for his guiding light;
They go through life struggling with all of their might,
Not knowing that with Jesus the burden is light (See Matthew 11:30).
As King He also carries the load,
He helps us as we travel down the road.
Peter tells us that upon Jesus we can cast all of our cares (1 Peter 5:7);
He promises to guide us in all of our affairs. So I ask you will you say "yes" to his call? Now is not the time to stall.
Will you follow the King who is mighty and wise?
He says to you, "Follow me and arise."
Receive His mighty love coming from on high, Born as a King with a gift, which we cannot buy.
